Notes: Five years later I look back at all we have gone through to get where we are today, and I smile. It has been an amazing journey in one of the greatest industries in the world. We have met a ton of new people and made a ton of new friends, all in the name of great beer! This beer was brewed to celebrate all the great times we have had and plan on having in the future. Brewed with 5 different malts and 5 hop varieties this deep, dark and hoppy ale is meant to be enjoyed with friends. Straight from the captain’s cellar to yours, we hope you enjoy!
SENSORY PROFILE
This beer is loaded with hops the whole way through! Big, bright, citrusy American hop aromas intermingle with roasted notes from the dark malts. The flavors are a mix of rich malt, aggressive hoppy flavor, and bitterness with a hint of alcoholic warmth.
FOOD PAIRING
This beer begs to be paired up with some nice ripe blue veined cheeses – anything that can stand up its bold flavors!
